And then there were none

It's been a crazy couple of days. Buttercup's teeting again with her like, 67th tooth or something, my house has exploded into an epic mess, and Sweeter is preparing for a possible job change which could land him in New Mexico for a year of training.

Yeah...it's a lot going on in the land of Deadlines and Diapers.
But the craziest part of all is that my baby sister is now an actual, certified, diploma-carrying adult. It was bittersweet for all of us, I know, since my father was not there to watch his baby break free from high school. I teared up when she walked across that stage, realizing how much he is going to miss, and how much we are going to miss him.

But in true Pauline form, I forced the tears to go on hiatus so I wouldn't ruin my make-up do for the celebration pics, and concentrated on the fact that Patricia suddenly looks like an actual adult.
I know!

She graduated from South Lake High School last night. Blue cap and gown and everything. Seeing as she is the last of the five Campos girls to grace the halls of South Lake, I really think that the district needs to host a diiner in my mom's honor. I mean, come on! I graduated TWELVE YEARS AGO!
That's a lot of Campos!

And as my lovely lil sis put it as I drove her to Big Boy to celebrate after the ceremony, "You feel old now, don't you?"
Ummm...yeah...
About that?
Thanks. I sure as hell do.
Oh well, come here and give me a hug, you little brat! I might be old, but that doesn't make me any less proud.

Holy Smokes! Pauline my sister is 12 years older than I am. Crazy age gap. I swear I was the only one!
