Uphill, both ways, with wolves chasing me!

It has been a crazy (and lazy) weekend, but I still managed to get some more work published on Baby Gooroo.
Read here for my post on recent research conducted by the University of Michigan discussing why the number of kids walking to school today has dwindled from 50 percent in 1969 to just 13 percent in 2004.
And for those of you who know me personally, think of my dad when you read the lead to the post. He always used to tell me how he had to walk to school uphill, both ways, barefoot, with wolves chasing him through a blizzard.
And yes, it took me a while to figure out that blizzards don't frequently occurr in Mexico (where he was born and lived until he was 11) or that wolves don't usually follow Detroit kids to and from school.
Speaking of which, how many hills do you see downtown?
Exactly.

There's probably as many blizzards in Mexico as there are hills downtown. I haven't seen too many, although I haven't been downtown lately :-) I love reading your Baby gooroo stuff, it's cool since it covers a lot of different topics. Did you have a good weekend?
