What the hell?

That's what I was saying to myself as I kept finding shreds of toilet paper all over the house this afternoon.
It didn't make any sense. Buttercup was in my Ergo Baby carrier while I vacuumed and cleaned house, the dogs were outside, no one else was home.
So how the hell did little toilet paper snowlflakes keep ending up all over the floor?
I was literally ready to call myself crazy after the fourth trip back down the hallway to pick up yet another trail of shredded toilet paper when I caught a glimpse of myself in the hallway mirror.
And there was Buttercup, perched nice and snug on my back, and clutching the toilet paper roll she had snagged from the top of the toilet when I sat down for a pee break (trust me on this, it's just faster this way) before I had started vacuuming. Without my knowing it, the little brat had picked up the roll and ingested God knows how much while she sprinkled the floor with little shreds of papery softness.
The funniest part was that when she saw her own reflection and realized I was looking at her, she knew she was caught. Eyes wide, instant smile, and a cooed "Momma!" were an automatic response.
I just rolled my own and grabbed the toilet paper roll out of her hands before she started clapping them.

I thought you were going to say that you bought a hamster for Buttercup's birthday and it escaped! Lucky that's all it was ... I was prepared for the worst! Just wait until she starts taking make up!

Sounds like buttercup and my dog both share a love for shredding toilet paper!
