I'm hungry N-O-W!

I guess I should have seen this coming when Buttercup refused dinner-twice.
Not even the famed powers of all things cheesy could persuade her to eat.
The only thing the little imp wanted was crushed ice and 4 quartered frozen grapes.
Maybe she was teething again? Who knows.
All I know is that whatever the cause, I am now sitting here trying to wax poetic at 3:36 a.m.
Granted, this is usually when I go to bed. But for reasons unbeknownst to the universe, I was dog-tired at 10 p.m., so logically, I went to bed at 1:30 a.m. (That's still early, in my book.)
Buttercup had come along for the nighttime mommy-daddy-baby-snuggle-fest, and we all passed out happily.
Then, she woke up. No amount of water would make her happy, and Sweeter was no longer sleeping through the cries of starvation or kicks of frustration. So I dutifully got us out of bed, made my way to the kitchen, and proceeded to let her chow on a whole banana, a slice of cheese, and a few of those Earth's Best fruit flavored chip things. (I would say it's a safe bet she was hungry.)
And now she's full. and fussy. And trying to bloxxxx c.. I mean blog. that's my cue to log off.

Oh boy, what was she refusing for dinner?

the first time i tried cubes of cooked ham and cheese (she LOVES cheese.) the second time i tried that again and when she refused it i gave her a chunk of gluten-free corn bread (like small enough for her hand), and a mini handful of ground sirloin and black beans. she tasted it, and then rached for my water cup and scooped out the ice and shived it in her mouth.
