Feed this, shove that, and I suddenly feel 30

I didn't have a problem turning 30...until now. See, here I am in blogdom, trying to establish myself and have some fun in the process, and I just found out that I am totally clueless.

Seriously.

As a member of The Mom Blogs, I've had the pleasure of speaking with mom bloggers from all over on the new forums. We've been sharing tips on how to increase traffic, how to make money, how to know all there is to know about blogging.

And this is where I learned that I could actually have readers subscribe! That there is a thing called kirtsy and that I might become more popular if I learn how to Stumble .

So I tried stumbling, and I stumbled all right.

Then came my attempt at signing up for feedburner and inserting the code or whatever to change the RSS feeds to give me a migraine as I walk my way out of a sentence I started but now understand about as much as I understand the mentality behind brushing your teeth to look good for that twice a year cleaning.

And for the last 46 minutes and counting, I have been trying to pretend I was not someone's mom, suddenly out of date, out of touch, and possibly embarrassing Buttercup, who most likely already knows how to do all of these things. Her daddy can build computers from scratch, for cryin' out loud!

I can imagine the first show and tell in kindergarten: "Hello! This is the new motherboard my daddy bought me for the computer I am building. It's going to have a Barbie Princess glitter case when I am finished."

Riiiight.

As for me? I'm just gonna sit back and pretend that I like my blog the way it is. Who needs all those fancy whatchamicallits those crazy kids are using these days?

OMG! I totally hear ya.

I mean if all the cool kids can figure it out why the hell can't I?

But, I guess that is what I get for being "old".

Oh my gosh, your little one is adorable!!

And I have to say, 30 is not that bad, so far....I've been 30 for almost four weeks now. :)

Thanks for the comment on my blog!
